Society And Corporate Social Responsibility
Friday September 20th, 2013
Why do corporations need to be responsible? What effect does a greater corporate social responsibility (CSR) program have on a company? Are there risks involved, such as greater costs in the supply chain, or are those costs counter balanced by consumers interested in sustainable products? With an effective CSR program, a company can create a positive image and be more influential in business and society. On the other hand, how does society respond to corporate responsibility? What is the public most interested in seeing from corporations?
