AGRION’s Net Zero Energy Building Framework Initiative, aims to facilitate education of consumers, contractors, builders, and architects to scale net zero/positive energy building in an urban setting. We are working with Skanska, which in collaboration with a consortium of specialists constructed Norway’s first net positive building, to try to scale net zero in the US, by demonstrating that it is an extremely cost-effective way to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
We will be holding a meeting for industry professionals to discuss the policy, design, and financing solutions for net zero energy buildings. Please let me know if you would like to participate, and I will register you. For a better idea of net zero or ZNEB, see our report here, which is a transcript and summary of our last meeting, and this video clip, on Walgreens’ net zero retail building prototype.
