Join Agrion on January 27th to discuss new green building development. We will hightlight a few projects in the Silicon Valley where new construction has led to LEED certified buildings and urban centers. We will be asking managers of new green building projects to shed light on the following questions:
- Are real estate development companies making a push towards sustainable building? Are construction companies in turn providing more options for green buildings? What was the cost comparison of green construction/development as compared to traditional development?
- How has constructing a LEED certified building affected your business, marketing, and overall building costs?
- What were the largest hurdles faced in the construction a LEED certified building?
- Do you believe the initial costs will be less expensive than retrofitting a traditional building?
- What is your advice to others looking to begin a LEED certified building project?
Speakers:
