Solar Energy | Sustainable Investments

The photovoltaic market in Canada is a growth market according to information from National Survey Report of PV Power Applications in Canada of the International Energy Agency (IEA). Since 2005 the installed capacity in Canada grew more than 30 percent each year and currently totals at around 62 MW.

Very attractive Feed-in Tariffs/Fits, such as the Ontario's Green Energy Act 2009 in combination with areas that have a total solar irradiance higher than 1200 kwh per year, specific areas of Canada should be seen as prime investment markets for the solar industry.

Current developments in photovoltaic market in Ontario, growth opportunities for international Companies and what changes may be needed to be taken into account in the wake of the election are some of the points, that the AGRION Solar Community online conference on the Solar Market in Ontario will be examining.
