Net Zero buildings have gained traction in recent years, and while industry experts seek to define what a net zero building is, the green building sector realizes the importance of being able to create a cost effective, low energy building. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory states, “Commercial and residential buildings use almost 40% of the primary energy and approximately 70% of the electricity in the United States.” With a replicable net zero building design, our energy savings could be astronomical. Join us to hear a discussion on net zero building design, energy efficiency measures, renewable energy supply options and case studies of net-zero buildings in the United States.
