Born in 1980, Jörg Lohr studied Communications and Marketing as well as Spanish and Strategic Marketing in Leipzig and Berlin, Germany. Since 2000, he has worked as an anchorman and economic journalist at several radio stations and for daily news magazines. In 2003, he decided to move into the marketing department of ARD, which is a joint organization of Germany's regional public-service broadcasters. During that time, he frequently worked with the automotive industry and technology companies.
In 2008, after having finished his studies in Strategic Marketing, he entered the automotive industry and became Marketing Manager at a consultancy in Stuttgart, Germany. His main topic of research in this position revolved around the future of mobility and therefore, eMobility.
Since 2008, Jörg Lohr has exclusively been working on eMobility-topics, moderating conferences, giving speeches at motor shows, and developing business models for suppliers interested in eMobility. Furthermore, he continues to serve as a strategy consultant.
In May 2010, he accepted the invitation of RWE and became a member of the B2B Business development team at RWE Effizienz GmbH, which is the High Performance Center of all RWE activities with regards to eMobility.
