Clarity of Risk and Reward for CFO Decision-Making in Sustainable Organizations

Thursday, March 29, 2012, 8:30am-9:30am PST (San Francisco) / 11:30-12:30pm (New York) / 4:30-5:30pm (Paris/Frankfurt)

This event will explore the place of environmental stewardship on the task list of the Chief Financial Officer as the intersection of sustainability, financial management, and risk management has increasingly landed in the office of the CFO. Today's presentation will identify the link between sustainability and the financial benefits of an organization and recognize how CFOs can successfully utilize their role to achieve those benefits. What are the factors and considerations that go into a CFO's treatment of the sustainability issue? What metrics are used and which organizational relationships are brought into relief as the CFO moves forward with environmentally friendly business practices? Join Jennifer Elder, President and Founder of the Sustainable CFO for an in-depth look at the overlap between environmental responsibility and business success.
