CSR: Whom do consumers trust?

Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011, 17:00-18:00pm Paris and Frankfurt / 12:00-13:00am New York / 9:00-10:00am San Francisco

Corporate Sustainability | Corporate Sustainability | Green Marketing / Green Communication

Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility are currently evolving as trends for enterprises. Most companies have established positions or even departments, who are concerned with these topics. But this practice is also observed critically.

Often they are accused of green washing: Aiming for competitive advantages and being not really liable in pursuing their measures. Especially the tobacco, oil and fast food industries have to cope with this accusation. Consumer reactions towards this are very diverse.

In the online-meeting on November 2nd, 2011 we will discuss the following:

  • How are consumer opinions influenced?
  • What are thereby the crucial factors?
  • Are some industries or enterprises perceived differently than others?
  • Which aspects of CSR and sustainability matter regarding consumers trust?
  • Are there methods or instruments to measure consumer trust?
