Building a Smart and Sustainable Water Grid

May 22, 2012 11:30am New York/ 8:30am San Francisco/ 5:30pm Paris, Frankfurt

AGRION is pleased to welcome Rentricity for this webinar on energy, resource use, and sustainability operations.

Rentricity Inc., a New York-based company, is the nation’s leader in producing clean, renewable energy from hydrokinetic applications in drinking water distribution systems, industrial water systems, and wastewater systems. Rentricity works with utilities to recover energy in water pipes and generate renewable electricity while maintaining transparent to normal operations.  Installing energy recovery technology in water pipes reduces utilities’ electricity costs while generating clean electricity. Energy recovery systems include a micro-turbine, generator, sensors, processors, electronic controls and communications equipment that operate seamlessly and autonomously within the water utility infrastructure.  Rentricity will present case studies of its first two completed projects, and discuss its upcoming energy recovery project.
